Simone Rigoni is the Co-Founder & CEO of Tep Wireless, a company redefining the ways we stay connected when traveling abroad.
Before devoting his life to Tep, Simone served as a management consultant in the Telco and Media sectors after receiving his degree in economics and obtaining an MBA in France.
Born in Padua, Italy and truly European at heart, Simone is an avid traveler who enjoys touching down in new airports and visiting new countries. He has experienced a bit of both: Roaming around urban locations or hiding away on distant exotic islands. Still not sure what his favorite one is, but Frasier Island in Australia holds a special place in his memory.
Simone believes his most successful work was driven by aiming at beauty and customer excellence. But, he likes to not take himself too seriously, as, he thinks, life is more fun that way!
In this episode, Simone shares his one way ticket to join Christopher Columbus on his first journey to the New World in 1492. He also talks about Tep Wireless and staying connected while on a journey.
Simone is just one of the dynamic guests featured on The One Way Ticket Show, where Host Steven Shalowitz explores with his guests where they would go if given a one way ticket, no coming back! Destinations may be in the past, present, future, real, imaginary or a state of mind.
Steven's guests have included: Nobel Peace Prize Winner, President Jose Ramos-Horta; Legendary Talk Show Host, Dick Cavett; Law Professor, Alan Dershowitz; Fashion Expert, Tim Gunn; Broadcast Legend, Charles Osgood; International Rescue Committee President & CEO, David Miliband; Playwright, David Henry Hwang; Journalist-Humorist-Actor, Mo Rocca; SkyBridge Capital Founder & Co-Managing Partner, Anthony Scaramucci; Abercrombie & Kent Founder, Geoffrey Kent; Travel Expert, Pauline Frommer, as well as leading photographers, artists, chefs, writers, intellectuals and more.
