Eddie Perfect is one of Australia's most diverse, respected and prolific writers/composers/performers, having made his mark in the fields of comedy, music theatre composition, playwriting, screenwriting, classical music, jazz and acting for stage and screen. As a composer/lyricist, Eddie's credits include Shane Warne The Musical (Token), Drink Pepsi Bitch (Malthouse Theatre), Misanthropology (Sydney Festival), Songs From The Middle with The Brodsky Quartet (Sydney Opera House), Strictly Ballroom (Global Creatures), Vivid White (Melbourne Theatre Company), King Kong: Alive On Broadway and most recently, Beetlejuice: The Musical (Warner Bros Theatrical Ventures) which received eight Tony Award Nominations, including "Best Original Score." In 2016 Eddie wrote the hit play The Beast for Melbourne Theatre Company and wrote the screenplay, musical score and starred in The Future Is Expensive - an absurdist comedy for ABC television.

Eddie's acting stage credits include The Threepenny Opera (Macheath), the Lincoln Center/Opera Australia production of South Pacific (Billis) and Keating The Musical (Alexander Downer/John Hewson). Eddie can be seen on Australian television's Playschool where he is a presenter, and on Netflix as Mick Holland in the Australian Drama/Comedy series Offering.

On this episode, Eddie shares his one-way ticket to New York City! He also talks about the hit Broadway musical, "Beetlejuice" for which he wrote the music and lyrics. Plus, Eddie offers his perspective on taking risks in life!
